Auger Torque launch the 150,000Max Earth Drill adding a second high torque drive to their heavy duty range.
Brisbane, Australia – September 2021 – Auger Torque, the leading manufacturer and global provider of earthmoving attachments, has today announced the addition of the 150,000Max Earth Drill complimenting the 100,000Max released in February as the second drive in their new heavy duty range.
Engineered to work with excavators between 21 and 50 tonnes, it provides an impressive 152,000Nm of torque and 12RPM. The 150,000Max is geared for high torque applications including, but not limited to, screw pile/anchor installation, large diameter drilling and core barreling.
The Auger Torque engineering team have ensured the earth drill offers maximum versatility and whilst maintaining an optimal weight of just under 1.5 ton, therefore in no way sacrificing any of the reliability expected from their range of drives Testing of the 150,000Max & 100,000Max, for both wide and deep drilling applications, has been extensive across parts of Australia, UK, and South Africa. Testing in harsh environments, including rocky ground, ensures this new earth drill range is superior to all other options currently in the market.
This new earth drill boasts all the key features and benefits the market have come to expect from Auger Torque, including:
• Epicyclic Gearbox – Torque multiplication with durability and reliability
• Axial Piston Motor – High speed with high torque, up to 15rpm
• Single Piece Non-Dislodgement Shaft – Patented safety feature with lifetime warranty
• 150mm Hex Shaft – Bigger shaft, plus our hex shaft stronger than competitor’s square
“Following on from the release of the 100,000Max back in May we have seen a phenomenal amount of interest in these new high torque drives, particularly with the growing requirement in the market for screw piling and core barreling applications. We are extremely fortunate to have had the likes of WRB and Jordan Rail up here in Queensland and down in Victoria help us test the product and really put it through its paces, so we are confident that when the going gets tough, whether you are drilling wide, deep or you are trying to get through some tough rock with a core barrel this is the drive that should be top of your list.”The 150,000Max & 100,000Max drives are now available and in stock in Brisbane & Melbourne and via the specialist dealer network.” – Kelvin Hamilton, Head of Auger Torque, Australia
